Ordering and Payment Options

  • We accept payment online via Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or PayPal. Jewelry is made-to-order, and production begins once full payment is received.
  • Allow approximately 6-8 weeks to receive jewelry items, and 1-2 weeks to receive leather goods, unless stated otherwise for “pre-order items”. Expedited shipping options are available for an additional fee (See International / Domestic shipping details below). Please inquire at info@bond-hardware.com.
  • Sales tax will be added at checkout for domestic orders, in accordance with individual state regulations. Duties and fees are subject to clients’ shipping address.
  • Email us to place a phone order if you’d like to use more than one credit card to complete your purchase. If the purchase exceeds your credit limit, your order will be automatically canceled.
  • A tracking number will be emailed to you once the order ships.

Domestic Shipping

Free ground shipping is available for all domestic orders in the continental US, (excluding Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico). FedEx 2-Day Air or overnight shipping is available for an additional fee.

  • Once your order has shipped, you’ll receive an email with your tracking number. We’re not responsible for any lost packages, delayed delivery, or any other issues that occur during shipping.
  • We insure all items up until they arrive at the delivery address.
  • We do not ship to PO Boxes or APO/FPO addresses.

International Shipping

  • We ship internationally via FedEx for an additional fee. For most international destinations, the shipping cost range is $35-$50 — the correct shipping fee will be applied to your order as part of the checkout process. If we don’t currently ship to your international destination, contact us by email and we will do our best to accommodate you.
  • We insure all items up until they arrive at the delivery address.
  • Delivery times vary depending on local customs clearance procedures, and we are not responsible for any delays or other issues that may arise during this process. We are also not responsible for any duties, import taxes or other fees assessed to international shipments.

Returns & Exchanges

  • We gladly accept returns or exchanges of unworn and undamaged items within 14 days of the delivery date, excluding custom and special orders.  Items returned after 14 days may be eligible for an online credit at our discretion.
  • The item must be in the same condition as when purchased, and you are responsible for all shipping costs. Items must be returned in their original packaging, and with original tags attached. Returns that do not meet our policy will not be accepted and instead will be shipped back to you at your expense.
  • Custom items, special orders, discontinued items purchased at a reduced price, or in-person sample sale purchases are final sales, and not eligible for returns, exchanges or refunds.
  • For eligible returns: Email info@bondhardware.com to initiate a return or exchange. We’ll provide you with a return authorization number (RA) and return label. Carefully re-wrap the jewelry, place it in the original packaging, and write the RA on the exterior of the package in large print. Take your package to a staffed FedEx location (do not deposit your package inside a FedEx drop box).
  • We aim to process your return and issue a full refund, less shipping costs, to your original form of payment within 7 to 10 business days of receiving the item. Please allow 2 weeks for your refund to be processed, and note that your banking institution may take additional time to post the refund to your account.

Repairs and Manufacturing-Related Issues

  • We will repair or replace any product for issues with materials or craftsmanship. Eligibility for replacement will be determined on a case by case basis.  Damage due to wear and tear or misuse may be repaired for a fee.
  • Repairs: Please email us about your repair needs. Repair estimates will be given once photos are received and evaluated by the Studio. You will be responsible for the cost of the repair plus shipping.
  • Manufacturing-related problems: Please notify us immediately — within 3 business days — should you receive a damaged or faulty item, to arrange for exchange or credit.
  • For manufacturing-related problems discovered within 30 days of purchase, we’ll exchange it, extend a credit to you for the value of your piece, or repair it at our expense. Once we receive the faulty item, we’ll contact you with your options.
  • We reserve the right to return the item to you, if we assess that the issue isn’t manufacturing-related, after our inspection.

BOND x YMYL Leather Goods Care

BOND x YMYL Leather goods are subject to the strictest standards of quality.  It is possible for marks or irregularities to appear even in(on) the most luxurious skins; these are naturally occurring features and should not be thought of as imperfections.

 

ABOUT THE MATERIALS

  • Smooth matte-leather accessories with chrome-finished hardware.

CARE

  • Clean only with warm water + and non corrosive soap.
  • Avoid contact with water, high temperature, humidity, grease, perfumes, make-up products, and light colored garments.
  • If your item gets wet, do not wipe the leather – dab it softly with a soft neutral colored cloth to absorb the moisture. Never force-dry the leather by using heat. Do not place on radiators or use hair dryers, simply leave it in a place that is normal room temperature until it dries naturally.
  • Any small dirt or grease marks on the finished side of the leather can be cleaned with a little warm water.
  • Avoid using commercial products meant for other uses such as shoe polish, turpentine, oil or stain removers, alcohols or solvents.
  • Do not rub the products with anything coarse or abrasive.
  • Scratches cannot be prevented.
  • Suggested storage: keep your leather products stored in a cool, dry place, wrapped in the bandana that they came in.

Platinum/Silver Jewelry Care

5% PLATINUM / 95% NICKEL-FREE SILVER CONTENT.

ABOUT THE MATERIALS

  • Firestain free and tarnish resistant.
  • Jewelry stays brighter and whiter for longer than Sterling silver – reducing the need for constant cleaning.
  • Platinum/Silver is hypoallergenic, nickel free, antibacterial and is sourced ethically
  • Finished jewelry made in Platinum/Silver is harder, stronger and more durable than traditional Sterling and Britannia silver.
  • Jewelry is resistant to damage from scratches, denting and deformation.

CARE

  • Clean only with warm water + and non corrosive soap.
  • Immerse in warm water as long as there are no soft stones or pearls.
  • Remove jewelry before swimming in chlorinated water or the ocean.

STORAGE

  • StorePlatinum/Silver jewelry in a soft cloth or plastic pouch to prevent scratches and protect
  • DO NOT store yourPlatinum/Silver silver jewelry next to sterling silver jewelry – when the two silvers touch, the material may tarnish.

ENGRAVING

  • Engraving options are available for a $50 fee.
  • Provide specific preferences about the engraving you’d like on your hardware in the comments section in the checkout process.

Sizing

For optimal fit measure carefully before ordering, using the measurement instructions below.

You may also request a 3D model of your item to confirm size + fit, for a nominal fee.  Studio fittings are available for New York based customers.

The 6-8 weeks needed to make your item will commence once your size is confirmed

Please note that items marked “adjustable” can be adjusted to fit most.

  • Determining ring size: Wrap a tape measure, piece of string or piece of paper around the base of your finger. It should be snug and able to slide over the knuckle. Mark the point at which your measuring tool overlaps, then measure the length in inches up to the mark. If in between sizes, pick the larger size. Note: Measure when your hands feel neither hot nor cold for accuracy.
  • Determining bracelet/cuff size: Wrap a tape measure, string or paper around your wrist; the bracelet should be able to fit over the joint. Mark the point at which your measuring tool overlaps, then measure the length in inches up to the mark. If in between sizes, pick the larger size.
  • Determining choker/necklace size: Measure the circumference of your neck with a string or tape measure, where the choker or necklace should sit. Mark the point at which your measuring tool overlaps, then measure the length in inches up to the mark. If in between sizes, pick the larger size.
