WANTED: Design Coordinator
Independent Contractor Role
Description:
BOND is seeking someone self motivated, organized, and able to multitask. The ideal candidate is proactive, has an eye for detail, with interest in a long term managerial position. This role will be executed primarily at our studio in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn, with in-person coordination happening in the Diamond District in Manhattan, and flexibility for some remote work.
About 30 hours per week, 4 days per week, from 10-6pm. Must have a reliable smartphone + laptop (we also have a laptop available for work happening in studio).
Compensation is dependent on experience / performance.
Requirements:
- Must be reliable, punctual, and motivated to learn.
- Ideal candidate has an interest in business administration, project management, logistics, production/manufacturing, and art handling. Are
- Organized, detail oriented, excellent note & record keeping skills.
- In consideration of the current pandemic, we are flexible with scheduling and will work with applicants to find a weekly plan depending on availability.
Responsibilities:
- Material sourcing + tracking
- Sample + production tracking
- Coordinating pick up + drop off of materials, communicating directly with local factories + makers
- Working side by side with the designer to adjust assets + materials for production
- Tech pack adjustments + sketching in Adobe Illustrator
- Perform sales analyses, competitive pricing analyses, SKU generation
- Assist in recording company financials
- Assist in updating + maintaining pricing / COGS information + applying said information to customer facing platforms including: website, e-comm stock lists, social media back end, outward facing assets via Adobe InDesign
- Must have AA degree or higher
- Must be comfortable taking initiative on projects.
- Must have excellent organizational skills and expertise in Microsoft Office suite, G Suite, and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator + InDesign predominantly)
- We are flexible with scheduling and will work with applicants to confirm a consistent schedule based on their needs.
- Applicants must have access to a computer and transportation.
- Familiarity with the apps Asana + Quick Books are a plus
- Familiarity with 3D CAD software Solidworks + GRAB CAD are a plus
- You will need to be responsive to last minute communications.

WANTED: Social Media Coordinator + Content Creator
Independent Contractor Role
We are seeking a talented, motivated social media coordinator + content creator to manage some of the ongoing marketing and social media workload. The ideal candidate would be proactive, highly creative, and well-versed in social media. Must have availability to meet in person 2 days per week, and a couple of hours to work remotely 5 days per week. They will be highly driven with the ability to take direction and collaborate well. Needs a strong interest in design, innovative fashion, production/manufacturing, and jewelry.
Responsibilities:
- Help execute newly developed social media plan.
- Update and maintain brand presence via Instagram + Facebook.
- Offer customers insight into the Bond Hardware aesthetic.
- Utilize and build brand relationships for online promotion.
- Draft, schedule, upload daily posts.
- Coordinate w/ creative director + art director to ensure that the social calendar is always planned.
- Adjust social content as needed to meet engagement, impression, and growth goals.
- Engage with the online community by replying to comments, answering questions, and sending direct messages to followers and key influencers.
- Light photo editing + adjusting on image text in Photoshop.
- Take direction from creative director + art director to create content via iPhone + digital point and shoot camera.
Requirements:
- Must be reliable, punctual, and motivated to learn.
- Can multitask and adjust to direction
- Is constantly studying/ working to expand creative perspective in NY + other art, design, fashion scenes.
- Eye for clean, visually stimulating content + ability to execute some casual photography in house.
- Organized, detail oriented, excellent note & record keeping skills.
- Proficiency and familiarity with Facebook Analytics would be a major plus.
- Daily availability for posting, we can create a schedule that works for you.
- Applicants must have access to a computer, iPhone, camera, and transportation.
- Adobe Photoshop knowledge a must.
